A paperwork-only marriage is exactly what it sounds like.
It is the legal marriage, without the wedding.
That means:
- an authorised celebrant
- the required legal words
- two adult witnesses
- the signatures
- and the paperwork lodged afterwards
We are a private celebrant service, not a government office.
Who this suits
This service is a good fit if you want:
- a cheap and easy way to get legally married
- the legal marriage now and a celebration later
- a private registry-style option in Sydney
- help with the paperwork without the fuss
- a short appointment instead of a full event
Who this does not suit
This site is not for full weddings or styled elopements.
- If you want a proper ceremony with guests, use Josh Withers.
- If you want an elopement with planning, scenery, and photos, use The Elopement Collective.
What happens
- Click the Get Married link and book the service.
- Pay the fee.
- Prepare your NOIM. If you want help, use NOIM Easy.
- Have the NOIM witnessed by an authorised witness.
- Send the paperwork through.
- Once we receive the paperwork, we confirm the date, time, and place subject to availability.
- Attend the appointment with two adult witnesses and get married.
What the law still requires
Even though the service is simple, the legal rules still apply.
- The NOIM must usually be given at least one calendar month before the marriage.
- You both need to be legally free to marry.
- You need the right ID documents.
- Two witnesses aged 18 or over must be there.
- The marriage must happen in person.
Why couples choose us
Most people booking this service are not trying to create a wedding day.
They just want to get married properly, with clear help and a low-stress process.
That is what we do.
